Jenna Ortega Scream 6 Tease Exposes Scream 2 style Ghostface Chase Sequences

Jenna Ortega will once again reprise her role in Scream 6 on March 10, 2023. Speaking recently via an interview with ET Online, the actress spilled some gory details concerning the sixth installment, calling it "action-heavy" and "gore-heavy."

Over the weekend, while attending a Latina Cinema & television event, Jenna Ortega was again grilled on the hotly-anticipated slasher, this time eluding to Scream 6's razor-sharp faithfulness to the franchise by teasing the inclusion of "a lot of good chase sequences."

Here's what she said during the red-carpet interview.

“Kind of reminiscent of like, in Scream 2, there’s a chase between Gale and Ghostface through the lab. I feel like we have a lot of stuff like that in the second one.”

"Scream 6" will be shot outside the US for the first time in franchise history, with Courtney Cox reprising her role as Gale Weathers. The sixth Scream entry, not confirmed to be titled Scream 6, will be co-steered by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
