Run Sweetheart Run (2022) Review | New Horror Movies Streaming
Offering an engrossingly novel take on the stereotypical stalker premise, overall, Run Sweetheart Run mostly makes for an entertaining watch.
Full of unforeseen plot twists, intense pursuit sequences, and one or two surprisingly shudder-worthy jump scares, there are points where Run SweetHeart Run reaches a compelling climax, offering tensely executed, edge-of-your-seat thrills and a series of shocking reveals.
Unfortunately, for all its tensely heart-pounding moments, it's not always smooth sailing, and in parts, the story suffers from stagnant pacing. Though some may feel it oversaturates in terms of social-political point-making, Run Sweetheart Run nevertheless presents a blood-pumping thriller that remains enthralling right up until the closing chapter, whose patriarchal jabs leave lasting wounds.
If you're looking for nail-biting tension with an unsuspecting slice of the supernatural, Run Sweetheart Run might be just the ticket.
