If you can see past its cliched premise, lesser production costs, and often tame scares, Girl at the Window (2022) might be barely entertaining enough to get by, but sadly for me, it resembled too much of an uninspiring slog.

Girl at the Window (2022) Review | New Horror Movies Streaming
Initially, Girl at the Window (2022) offers momentary intrigue as you begin to unravel its narrative beats. But despite gaining some suspenseful momentum early on, it's tepidly spun whose-the-killer story never stabilizes enough to become compellingly coherent.
Sadly, for large parts, Girl at the Window is more frustrating than it is thrilling, losing much of its initial allure due to strangely disjointed dialogue, a series of low-impact frights, and a story that becomes increasingly more fractured the longer it goes on.
Despite a strong start and some tensely delivered sequences with the killer, on the whole, it's hard for me to recommend this tame thriller that mostly falls flat, aside from some early showings of suspense.
